As it sits today. I will take Box Rocket's idea and paint the bars on the shell. I have also found a great deal on a new set of shoes, either 285/75-16's or 305/70-16's for under $500, with mine as trade.

Thanks Travis. Let me know whenever your up this way and maybe we can get together. I just got back from putting a new set of shoes on.:D I went with 285/75-16 A/T's. The guys at the shop tried to talk me into 315's and I just couldn't go there.

Thanks taco and I will post some pics later this week after I install the UCAs.

Hey Box, absolutely LR's. I can't get the alignment right so I figured I would try this route. I will post some results after the alignment.

Cool. Let me know how it works out. My truck has aligned just fine with stock upper control arms and I haven't noticed any binding of the balljoints, but I worry that I'm pushing them to their limits. I think the LR control arms are nice because they have a sealed joint just like the OEM ones. At least for me in Utah where they salt the roads in the winter the uniball type upper control arms just take a beating in the salt and I don't want to have to rebuild the joints every year. So the LR's are a sweet option.

Let me know how it works out for you.

So you switched to 882 coils or you still have the 881's?

I'm now running the 882's. They leveled the front out and a great ride.

Nice build! I was curious did you spray paint matched the grill? Or bought a colored matched grill? If painted what brand of paint did you use?

    thanks

Thanks Scriber. I used Krylon. It's not an exact match but close enough for me. The clear coat yellowed a bit so I need to sand it down and do it again when I get some time.
