Some happenings over the last few months...been busy:

New, install pending bracket


Wrapped up the water/shower storage


Testing the @TruckFridge with the gz yeti 400w


Love the Hondo garage mounts!


Clunking in the front end after water crossings, then dry wheeling calls for a uca uniball bath!


About to get lubed!



Solar panel 100w ready to go!



Then the gz takes a dump...under warranty thank goodness


Acquired an RTIC 45L!!



And it came with a horribly manufactured seal...warranty exchange = I have a perfect cooler now!



Tested out the Mr. Buddy for the first time-love it!!

So far everything (thankfully) that has gone awry has been under warranty but I'm beat and just need to wheel!!

I noticed some folks here talking about the ARQ 270* Awning. I've had mine for about 4 weeks. I actually had the first one shipped here to the states. There are a few of us that ordered through xxxxx. Scott has his already mounted as does at least one other person. I'm still working on my softopper rack for solar panel and this awning to be mounted.

So DHL trashed mine

Once it's mounted, it obviously becomes much more rigid and stable!

 

I had that identical leak on the ICONs in the rear (as did many other people). They have updated installation instructions that require the upper shock mount to be trimmed in order to give more clearance for the fitting. You should do that (on both sides) before the other shock gets damaged.

I actually just saw the thread the other day.
We don't actually need to grind the buckets, just loosen the shock mount bolt a bit less than spec.
I haven't updated here but I had a shop do it anyway so there are no problems in the future.
I've stuffed those rears so any clearance is better than none.

I wonder if the square tube is a new thing?
It's definitely much more ridged than the angle.

 

Yeah not sure I like the square set up. Seems that off roading would jar the c clamp loose.
I got mine in early 2016.

How did you mount your awning and how much does it go past the front and back of your rack, assuming you have the 2000?

 

Yes it is the medium.
I simply bolted it right to the Prinsu rack.
Not the best side shots but you get the idea. There may be some better angles in my IG feed.
