All of mine cover 71/2" off the ground all arounf and my tires are 30" which is about 1/4 of the way up coverage. Ideally i like 1/4 to 1/3 rd no more.
I still have them on they did regain their shape i do have them mounted on brackets and installed auto door trim around the edges for additional reinforcement, so i belived that helped and they're not a total mess.

But I'm anal and like the perfect fit of the Roblokz but don't want to spend the $$$ so I'll be looking at hd 24"x30" x either 1/8-1/4" thick to custom cut & fit them but the jury still out though as i like the plasticolor flaps.

    Cheers!

Has anyone used the Husky flaps? Even though they appear rigid they are much shorter. Also, maybe a stupid question but I didn't see the plasticolors differentiating between front and rear whereas some of the others do. I assume they are all the same...

    Hello,

Are these the regular size or XL? Purchased a Tacoma about a year ago with the larger tires. Just wondering which size would look better.

Rally Armor! Similar style to the rockbloks and you can get a set of 4 universal flaps for under $30, just drill your own holes and use the bolts that are already in your fenders. Mine are the regular sized ones but you can get the longer truck/suv ones which are 4-5 inches longer I think. Plenty flexy so they won't cause trouble off road, thin so they don't cause excessive rubbing, and the best part is they don't have that big douchey RB logo :)IMG_20170702_122258131.jpg

I like bfg's rwl, but I couldn't resist making my point.

My douche rb logos are usually covered in mud so I guess I'm only a little douche

Lol wasn't trying to offend, it was a joke, sarcasm doesn't come across well in text. I considered the RB in black myself actually, but went with the rally armor since they were $100 cheaper. I realize the same can be said about the bfg's, or the orange paint, or plenty of other things of mine, and that's fine I understand everyone's taste is different

Hey @Mountain Minstrel and @smitty99 . Could you please be so kind and snap a photo of inside of rear wheel well, showing how did you install your Plasticolors. I just received mine, and looking at it, if I install them only on 3 factory bolts, they might flex too much. To screw it somewhere on inside of rear wheel well, I think they would be raised too much... So I'm thinking of adding some kind of a mounting bracket to stiffen them up sideways, and keep lower...
Am I overthinking the process as usual??!

Hey @FlyFisherCJ, what did you end up buying/installing on your Taco?

Of course after posting, I revisited @smitty99 link, and came across some photos

    No mud flaps

Is that how your Plasticolors look like when installed??

Hey OP, I apologize for jacking your thread, but I feel it might be important in decision making...

Looking at those photos, I have a feeling I wasn't really overthinking. That might be a problem some have with them twisting and stuff. I think that adding a brace/bracket on inside of wheel well might prevent twisting. Unless I'm all wrong, then I'm sorry for wasting your time.

    Edit: Added photo credit

Those photos were with stock suspension

My flaps have held up just great, no issues with the way they were mounted

Thank a lot. That's reassuring, especially that you have yours for over a year and a half!

What I did was slide a 1/4-20 captive u-nut over the fender liner to give me additional threaded mounting holes towards the inside

Weathertech. Super easy install. Very well made and I dont do any heavy off-roading. Got them from Autozone or Advance auto and used one of their 20% off coupons. Good deal.
