    of course
I bought my last Taco new in 2009, 11 years ago and mud flaps was mod #1, traded it for my 2020 Taco Thursday, mudflaps was the first mod I ordered. The work saved cleaning the truck pays for itself the first time you wash it by hand. Just waiting to receive them. :)

Canadian Tacomas have mud flaps standard. They are ok long as you dont go offroad much.

Yes, without a doubt, mud flaps will guard against rocks and debris from hitting and scaring up your rocker panels and even higher.
I use the OEM Tacoma mudguards on both mine.

Notice how damage free the side of my '96 are even though 24 years old and 414,000 miles with original paint.

First thing I did was pull the oem mud flaps off, but I also did a 3/2 lift and put larger tires on. All I run now are RokBlokz in the rear. If the fronts kick anything up on the truck that my sliders don’t get, oh well it is a truck after all

The Misses heard me mention mud flaps for my truck as my previous 3 all had them. So for my birthday I open a box and she got me mud flaps! She got them online from a Toyota dealer, $60 for OEM set of 4. Took me probably 15 minutes to put them on.

I bought the Misses an OEM set for her Disco V. They weren’t $60. Lol. Front set should be reasonably easy, the back set however require a hole through the body panel. I’ve been stewing on it for a while. I asked the dealer how much they’d charge and they said $900 give or take. I nearly shat myself.

I've got step tubes installed and after one drive in a huge rain storm, I could see they were getting dirtier than the rocker panels of the truck. I've only driven about 450 miles in the first month we've had the truck and whatever the dealer used in detailing the truck at delivery is sure shedding the spray from the road when it's wet

Yes, I've had several windshields replaced over the years due to rocks thrown by vehicles in front and one was even approaching me. I worried for a long time that Nationwide would cancel me for too many claims against my comprehensive section

Agree although, if you drawn a line from where the tire meets the road to the bottom of the mud flap you'll see how little most flaps actually protect.
Long Johns if installed properly protect the most of any flap.

These are Huskey. They prevent embedded gravel being flung onto the paint and don’t get in the way. I am happy with them. I did modify slightly by using bolts with lock washers and nuts for a more solid mounting.

Purchased some generic ones off Amazon for about $30 right after purchasing the truck last year. Agree with what everyone else has mentioned previously - if you care about your paint, they're worth it!

Those Wildpeaks look great on there! Any issues with the tires rubbing the front flaps?

None at all. FYI I'm running stock '17 sport springs, Bilstein 5100's all around. I forget which "notch" they're set on. It's the setting that basically just level's the truck out by lifting up the front an inch or so. No other mods or anything else done. Wildpeaks are 265/70/17 on stock sport rims. Hope that helps!

The ones I ordered on Ebay came this afternoon. About 20 minutes to install from start to finish. Came with hardware, but no instructions. Not that you need them as it's pretty easy to figure out which one fits where.

At some point, I might replace the Phillips head screws with 10mm metrics, just because.
