I couldn't vote...my option was not available...I'd vote leave on whatever hasn't broke off!

    I have two on...two off. :D

ON: Front left and Rear right
OFF: Front right and Rear left

Reason: These rigid mudflaps look good...but they suck on 4WD roads. Broke two of them after the tire came down off a rock. The remaining two are still on because I'm too lazy to take them off. Eventually I'll be totally w/o mudflaps...just gotta hit a couple more rocks.

I left mine on after I put on Billies set at 2.5" and I couldn't even tell it was lifted cuz the flaps are so damn big. Took them off and you could actually tell. I say ditch em.

If you off-road in the rocks, they'll come off forcefully if you don't remove them first.

Mine will just get torn off if I leave them on. A CHP did pull up to my window the other day and said I needed mudflaps on. I plan on eventually getting bedsides, I shouldn't still need mudflaps should I?

Hey Kevin, sorry about this weekend, my phone was in my truck and i totally forgot about the trip i was going on to my sisters. But the CHP that gave me a ticket told me they had to be the width of the tire and down to the middle of the axle.

I took my fronts off and replaced my rears with flaps from an 03. They flex more and dont break when you get caught on a rock.

I took mine off till i found out i can get a ticket.I had none on my last 4x4 but i found out it was cause it was registered as a wagon . AZ law say mud flaps are not needed on a wagon only on trucks.so i reinstalled my rears.

Took my fronts off yesterday...one of them was already broken off at one of the clamp bolts because they are cheap and made of plastic, remember when they were actual rubber and were able to flex with the terrain you were rolling over?

Those units get torn off more easily than the plastic dealies...it's easier to pinch them between wheel and rock.

Honestly, there's no good mudflap offroad. Best is to just remove them before you run any trails, bolt 'em back on before pavement duty if you need/want 'em.

I trimmed a few inches off my fronts and I think they look better and still function quite well. Stock length is way too long imo.
