Looking to do a mud flap mod for my third gen. I have 17 inch wheels (Method) and the tires stand out a bit. Don't know if oems will be wide enough. Any suggestions?

There's a good chance you'll rub with the OEM mudflaps. REKGEN or RockBlockz will likely be your best options. Both use factory mounting locations and are made such that you can adjust their position for better coverage with larger tires or wheels with more offset.

I have REKGENs on my truck; very happy with them. Either should serve you well.

I'd stay away from the OEM one's. Yes they look pretty good, but they are made out of a hard plastic. If you really want them, I have a full set that I took off at 2k miles when I did my lift and wheels/tires. Put RokBlokz on the rear. Don't have any flaps in the front anymore.

I use Rockblokz extended (1" wider than stock). Any less width and mud/rocks are bouncing off the sides of the truck....

I've got 2nd gen rims on my truck on 265/65/17 duratrac tires.
