This may have been covered but i cont find a firm answer on it.

Saturday Ill be mounting my TRD pro wheels with 265/70/17 Goodyear Duratrac tires

If I do not have mud flaps will it be throwing rocks and etc from the road damaging my paint?

That's gonna throw rocks like Curt Schilling. TRDParts4U has OEMs for about half dealership cost. I've heard folks recommend the Weatherbeaters too.

    You need to flap up.

Yes, the flaps will help, but I still get rock damage on the rocker panels, so get touch up paint too!

Wait until you ask a very obvious question to something that is clearly in the manual. Then we'll turn on you like the fatties at Golden Corral.

Yes. I have the factory ones and they work fine in combination with the factory flat running boards keeps the stones away.

Get some flaps. I had the factory ones and swapped them for plasticolor's. I like the plasticolor ones better but wish they were longer.

Second the running boards. Mine came with flaps and I put nerf bars on. You would not believe the stone hits I get even with the flaps and lund running bars. I run 265/70/75 duratracs

I really like the duratracs. This is the second set that I have had. Looked at BFG KO2's but the duratracs were cheaper and I knew that they were good in the snow and ice.

These are the best pictures that I have with the flaps in them:

I can probably take some different pictures tomorrow if you would like. Have you checked out Rockblokz flaps?

I prefer flexible mud flaps so when off roading you won't rip a flexible mud flap off of you come down on a rock with them. Can't say the same for the rigid OEM mud guards.
