they will install but if you do not have the flares on your SR as an option you will have a gap where they are molded to fit over them

I agree with the TufSkinz mud flaps... solid built, have that retro 4WD logo and come in almost any color to match your build!

Man I really like the price point of the tufskinz but I have a 2wd and the ones without the 4wd logo look really cheap/cheesy for some reason

Funny you should mention mudflaps... I just ordered a set the other day.
I'm the oddball that bought an SR that doesn't have the factory fender flares. Looked for mudflaps for months and of course everything I ran across was 'Everything EXCEPT SR model'. Finally stumbled across Weather Tech, which actually makes no-drill flaps for my truck.
I thought 'Oh boy, Weather Tech .. What kind of crazy price do they want for these?' ... Not bad at all. A full set with shipping and tax was $97.00. Plus Weather Tech is/was the only ones that make flaps for my particular model. So everything is a win-win for me.
They're supposed to get here Monday (4-19) and take 1/2 hour to install. Uses factory bolts/holes, and nothing but 5-star ratings.
I'll post pics and review next week.

Maybe, maybe not. I found (Looking for my SR) everything depends on if you have the factory flares or not. IDK if you could get an SR5 without flares, so can't say. If you don't have the factory flares, then Weather Tech is the only option for no-drill bolt-on flaps.
With factory flares, there's a bunch of options.

tufsknz, rockblock and rekgen all are flat flares that all look to screw into existing mounts on the truck so flare or not they fit. Never seen what weathertech offers

I was really surprised looking at the Weather Tech site. I found what I needed, but it looks like they're basically 'Whatcha' got? We make it!' kinda' thing.

    THIS.

I had the same issue exactly. Running Rekgens now and it's solved the issue. I do have some rubbing issues. I think I put the wrong spacers in the front. Just need to get off my ass and switch them.

That said, I cannot believe how expensive 4 sheets of plastic and some screws are... But at least I'm not getting mud kicked up my door, underside of my door handle, windows, roof etc...

I think I might change out my OEM style molded ones for the tufskinz. I like that nothing is rubbing the paint with the flat style flaps

All that stuff too. Plus ... Because it's happened to me twice ... I don't wanna be That Guy that kicks up a rock and cost someone else $300 for a new windshield.

I installed the rekgens, which are fine but I literally just bought the tufskinz today, aesthetically I like the "4wd" stamp better then "rekgen" which feels a bit subaru-esque to me lol.

How tight were you able to tighten the rek gen fasteners? I can't seem to get it to a snug tight, they just kept on spinning...

I got mine to a point I was happy with, didnt put much torque on them though. If you put too much they will just spin in the molding since theres nothing to actually tighten to, if that makes any sense
