What tire size are you running/planning to run?

I have rekgen and cannot recommend them. They use a piece of fuel line as a spacer for one of the screws on each flap.
I bought them to increase tire clearance but I still rub, and now, instead of rubbing on the soft plastic of the OE flaps, i rub on the hex bolt head on the rekgen flaps. The bolt heads stick out i dont know why they designed it like that.

Today i removed the front flaps because it was rubbing so bad that the washer bent.

Getting the screw out was a PITA since the grommet stripped and it took like an hour. I’d say u should try RokBlokz or Tufskins because these Rekgens kind of suck.
    Here’s a pic:

yeah, that makes sense, I got them to a point that the flaps are pretty tight against the wheel wells. I'll do some 85 mph aerodynamics test later to see if they hold up

Not that I'm trying to convince you to like the rekgens but as to your bolt head issue, rekgen f'd up the directions on which bolts to use so i think the longer ones go in front and shorter in back (I might have that backwards, whatever they mark on their package, its the opposite)

I think they fixed it, I got the long ones installed in the rear, and short in the front no problem. I just installed them today, the XL american flag version

dang it, I'm running stock size tires so probably won't rub and shouldn't need to get them off

I don't think so. I believe (not 100%) the SR model does not have fender flares.

Mud flaps (all of them) are ugly, period!
The best ones perform their function while best blending in not to be seen.

Okay well in that case the rekgens arent bad, and they look great
And they bend much better than the stock flaps

I agree, that's why I didn't have any until I decided to go to 0mm offset wheels. Having tires sticking out will kick up a lot of projectiles if not caught with extra wide flaps

Agree and disagree. I bought some slightly bigger mud flaps because I live on a dirt road. I need the extra protection for my paint!

Liking mine as well. Deleted factory flaps for tuffskinz, like the retro look/4WD and in white to match my truck...all black up front. Also noticed at least a 2mpg and 10hp increase

Just put RekGen on my stock 2017 trd sport with 265/70-17 falken wildpeaks and I used the exact directions that were with them (instead of switching the spacers like everyone recommends) and they fit and look great. No rubbing and no problems for the past 3 months

That's what I heard, not sure when I put mine on maybe a month ago, ordered on Amazon but they were still backwards packed. So maybe only some of them got fixed.

Agreed on their aesthetics but they do serve a purpose. Same has been said of bug deflectors but they also have a function....

Agree, sand/rock blasted paint looks way worse when it gets that pretty rust color look...
