Mud flaps

My selling dealer offers a great discount on all accessories I purchase for my taco.

 

Back in my younger days, we would cut rubber floor mats to serve as mud flaps.

It's still an option, but seems to be less popular these days.

 

I ordered the rokblokz. They’re fairly flexible which is why I went this route. The factory ones seem to rigid for me and I knew I’d end up breaking them backing up on dirt roads. These flaps will bend quite a bit. They’re not cheap but I got tired of the rocks slinging out of my tires once I hit pavement.

exactly the reason I went with the micros. I also faced the ARK embossing into the tire since they are exact mirrors on each side.

 

Ark Micros. give me the coverage I need (stock tires and offset) to keep the flingers off the side.

 

If any have the oem ones that have taken them off, I will buy them.

I was getting excited about ordering from RokBlokz, then I saw they don’t fit a SR5.

Years ago I found that many rocker area designs do little to prevent the front tire from slinging Slush/sand/SALT and more up into the lower door opening - AND into the vent/drain holes in the bottom of many doors. The vehicle under corners get the same. I add them for this and some of the road debris. IF I'm keeping the vehicle it is a MUST ... It's just not for rocks and gravel roads, IMO.

Man those mudflaps just looks hideous. I don’t know if I rather have rockchips or that ugly thing hanging off my wheel wells.

you dont want factory oem mudflaps at all, it resolves nothing......
Theres plenty of documentation where guys have destroyed the bedsides not even offloading, with stock mudflaps, stock wheels, stock tires....
I wouldnt even touch the Canada ones, not that much wider to really help & sound youre in gravel on the regular from your post...

I had factory flaps, pavement princess & drive it as such....
Never seen dirt or gravel, I have 2 micro pits in the bedside / rear flares I had to fill-in....

Not worth playing games, go big....

I have an incoming '25 TRD OR and ordered the Canada OEM to put on when my truck comes in on Tues. They are the same width as the OEM 3rd gens. Seems like the perfect width to me with 265's. The skimpy OEM 4G ones are probably for 235's.
