I am familiar with this problem as I just returned a set for my 2023 Tacoma SRS. The dealer looked up my vin no. and they still didn't work. The front would have fit fine but the rear won't due to the flared trim strip which you can see in one of the previous posts. I could have modified them but if I have to go through the bother I'll order something for a lot less on line.

I bought a '23 Tacoma last May, and it's a bit of a rare configuration that I didn't know existed. It's essentially an SR but with SR5 accoutrements. The dealer refused to take any of the grossly overpriced "options" off, including the factory mud guards. I think they had them on the list at $299. The truck was not delivered with them, and the dealer told me they would install them. Knowing they wouldn't fit, I asked them to leave them off and I'd install them myself. I had a spirited discussion with the parts manager, who insisted they'd fit based on a VIN lookup. I made the mistake of not test fitting them before I left, thinking maybe Toyota had finally produced a set for the SR. First thing I did when I got home was try to install them, and of course, they didn't fit. I sent a screen shot to the part manager and the manager of the dealership, highlighting that even in the Toyota description, is clearly states that they're not for non-flared Tacoma's. I sent them back and they cut me a check for $300. Get the Weathertech's. They look 100% OEM.

Still hard to believe it's 2024 and a $170(!!!) set of Weathertechs is the closest available to OEM mudflaps for the SR. I can go on ebay and get a set for $30 for a truck with fender flares, but somehow Weathertech has managed to corner the market for the SR. Incredible.

I got my 2023 SR at the end of March 23 and the first thing I did was order the Weathertech flaps.

I came out cheaper in the long run buying an SR and adding aftermarket upgrades.
