Goodyear's wear fast at first but they will almost stop wearing after a while. How many miles?

i understand...you wouldn't have them on your truck if they weren't any good, right?

around 8k. Some of the sipes are showing bottoms already. My past experiences with Goodyear tyres is that they offer excellent traction, but wear quickly. I got them for winter use only, so they should last two more seasons hopefully.

I would give them a shot, not saying they are bad tires. But from personal experiences I'd never go with any other M/T.. I guess I'm being a little Biased, but I love my KM2s lol, they haven't failed me once off road.

i'm sure they are a fine tire. Sheer popularity speaks for that. The thing is, I hold a hell of a grudge  and Goodrich genuinely pissed me off when they discontinued the originals. Bastages.

The the original M/Ts were amazing, it sucks they pretty much discontinued it. The only size you can get it, comes in Jeep Rubicons. I remember watching Terminator 2 the other day and realizing the Bronco has the original BFG M/Ts on it. KM2s are the only BFG I will ever buy, never was a fan of the A/T.

Going to agree with u on this. I've heard bad things about them ripping sidewalls too. But that's on rocks, not in mud. If sidewall issue is your concern, I'd go with gy Stanford mt kevlars. If its just dd/muddy situations, I think the bfg will be more forgiving daily

hmm.... i dont know for sure.

for my situation, however, i have put about 10k miles on this set and they are down to about 14-15/32 (from 18.5/32 new). so i can at least get another 20-30k miles out of them.

30-40k miles from a mud tire is pretty good.

I agree with that whole heartedly. I miss the original km's. Why in the world would they quit making something that is tried and true and made them so much money as one of their most popular tires. Anyways, enough of the rant. OP... have you looked at the maxxis buckshot mudders????? I have them on my truck and I absolutely love them. They hook up great in the mud and they wear decent also. Just take a look at them and judge for yourself.

Yep... why not go a slight bit bigger with 265/75's? KM2's are great... probably my next set too.

I was livid when I first heard they were dodos.

Yes it is. I got just over 53k out of my KMs on my T-100. Rotated every 3k. They were still legal depth when I got rid of them. pressure and rotations...these are the two words you must not ignore when shelling out $200-plus a tire.
