There are scratches where the edges of my mudflaps and splash guards rest. I assume this is just from the sharp edges and the vibrations of the truck. I really want to take them off but I don't want it to look like trash with the scratches, is there anything I can cover up the scratches for cheap?

I was going to take my flaps off and had this same problem. They had been on for 33k miles and were pretty deep in the plastic. No way of fixing it that I know of so I trimmed my factory mud guard down about 5" and went with that.

Take them off before it gets worse. I've had mine off since the first week and I haven't had any problems

Should have got in the group buy and got rid of the oem flaps. That is one of the reason's I'm taking my oem off.
