Just mounted a new set of TRD rims with Nitto Ridge Grappler 265/70/R17 tires. Looks so sweet but when I turn, the tires rub on the front mud flaps, ughhh! I don't want to take the mudflaps off as I would like to maintain the paint job. Should I cut the area it rubs on out with a Dremel (essentially a couple of small squares) or use a heat gun to soften up those areas and flatted out with a hammer? I know many of us have this issue running these size tires so any suggestions would be helpful. Pics help too.

Use a heat gun and push the portion back that is rubbing. I took a Dremel and cut squares out of my factory mud flaps to clear my 295/70/17s. Anything is possible!

You can also take a file and knock some of the material off where the contact is. I've done this as well
