Muffled sound

Hello! I just picked up a new 2019 TRD Sport on Saturday. I have an iPhone 8 Plus and everyone is complaining that my voice sounds muffled and hard to hear. Their voices sound fine, but EVERYONE complains about mine. I called my salesman and asked him if it sounded right to him and he said yes, maybe a little muffled but that was just how they all sounded. My wife has 2014 Camry and hers sound fine. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks for any help you can give me.

 

Yes, the truck is in the shop right now for the same reason. They had no solution for me. I will try another phone and see if it is any better. Otherwise, not a very happy camper about this situation.

 

HD calls from wife's iPhone 5s to my LG G5 sound great over the Taco's Bluetooth. Crisp, clear.

She was on the interstate. I could hear the dog snoring in the back seat. He's not loud.

Is your phone sitting below the windows? A weaker connection (or crowded cell tower) will force calls to SD, which stands for Very Low Definition Codec.

 

Same problem here, will have to see what you all say too before I take the truck to the dealership for squeaky leafs and this.

 

Any updates on this? My wife complains I'm extremely muffled.
