    question...if i cut my muffler pipe back...(look @ pic) will muffler sway or move more since im eliminating rear mount? iijHE5Tl.jpg

    Toyota only added the rear mount for decoration. It serve no practical purpose. You are smarter than an educated engineer that just makes stuff up.

    Have you ever been under your truck? I'm sure you are going to say "yes" but I know the real answer is "no."

    The rear-most mount serves a purpose in holding the tip up when the exhaust extends all the way out of the back, but once it is chopped above the axle, it is no longer needed.

    its amazing what people say here! almost like there picking to argue with others!.....reason for cutting pipe! is to make more room! for much bigger tire larger than standard 245/75! but thanks to those who answered what i needed to know.... ;0)

    Pretty sure the exhaust pipe has nothing to do with fitting larger tires, but chop away.
