    Loud and slow is not better. Thats like saying if someone cant sing they should stand next to me and scream out my favorite song and its better.

    Yeah? Well that blows that theory I guess, but my mind is still intact:D. So it must be firing order or something else.

    Not Enough.
    Honestly? I think it's the way the exhaust is routed and the muffler design w/ the sideways single in/dual out deal. I had an '87 with the 2.8 V6 and for a tiny motor, I'll agree it had a little bit of throatiness to it.
