I have a 98 Tacoma and I put on a Flowmaster delta 40 and its really loud! i just put a resonator in front of the muffler but it didn't help much at all, is there anything else I can do to make it quieter without going back to stock? anything will help. thanks!

Nope, the 40 series is notorious for being loud. Maybe go to the 50 series?

    getting there....
the 40 delta flow is a little quieter....but with a baffled muffler........not much to do. a 50 series will be alot quieter.....................or you can go to a completely different muffler.........................i have a dynomax super turbo muffler, its pretty quiet, but it has a good sound.

I know that this doesn't help as you already have the Flowmaster, but most of my friends and I have the Magnaflow which really sounds nice. I was thinking that the resonator would help, but if you've already tried it, the next best thing would be the 50 series which is much quieter by a long shot. Happy trails!
