Muffler HELP!?!?

    07 Access monster
    Full bolt on from air to tip, k&n cold air intake, LCE long pipe headers, cat delete with 2’1/2 piping custom exhaust with a super 44 for now. Leveling kit for now. Locking paragon bed cover and locking tailgate.
    07 access 4.0
    So I have LCE long tube headers and it just turned my flowmaster super 44 into a Honda tin can. I need a monster not a whiny little bit@h! Can anybody help??????

    Try adding a resonator.

    So it sounds great at startup and most range of gear but the higher end of the gear it sounds like a tuner car

    The flowmaster pro series is really good for lowering an exhaust note too

    My magnaflow off-road pro is a cat back exhaust and it sounds good as hell and it's pretty damn loud, check it out.

    Resonator. Same thing happened with my URD Long Tubes. Great sounding rumble at start. But once you put gas to it it sounded god awful.

    That awful whiny sound at higher RPM is the sound of power due to the long tubes working efficiently. Resonator is the answer.
    Good luck in taming it.

    A few OE parts from fancy trucks
    Put a stock muffler back on it.

    It will tame the frap and you won't have any measurable power loss.

    JBA long tubes on mine with a Dynomax muffler. I think it sounds pretty good when I floor it to pass someone. Definitely let’s them know I’m coming around. :thumbsup:
