Muffler on a 4 Cylinder?

    Built for maximum low end torque, tooter II.VII intake manifold spacer, LCE long tube header, Injen long tube intake, 2,900 rpm torque peak.
    The really surprising results of the dyno testing was that a chambered muffler actually flows BETTER than a straight through muffler. This runs totally contrary to the prevailing long held belief that straight through is always better than chambered.

    It all depends on the design of the chambers... ;)

    Flowmaster recommends both for 4 and 6 cylinder engines. They're both loud, but the 40 will be louder than the 50. Here's a video of regular driving under a variety of different conditions with the 50 Delta Flow...

    I got the all stainless steel model as it will never rust out. Also there is no packing in Flowmasters to blow out so they always sound exactly the same as the first day they were installed.
