I just installed a dynomax catback, was super cheap. Was a little too loud for my liking, droned too much. So I installed a super long cherrybomb glasspack right after y-pipe, cherry bomb is 24 inches long I think. Sounds absolutely wonderful, barely any drone, no drone at highway speed but definetly louder than stock. Overall very impressed, definetly recommend fit was excellent also.

dunno why I went with the JBA honestly....at the time it seemed good for the money but looking back I probably should have gone with a magnaflow or a gibson. I love the sound of the JBA, not too loud just a nice purr and hardly any drone, not enough to bother me anyway

6% Tint all around, Toyota all-weather floor mats, Toyota bed extender and skid plate, Python 991 remote-start alarm, oem cruise control and class III hitch were all installed within a couple months. I then installed Icon c/o's and Icon's 3-leaf aal with 17x9" GA9's and 285/70/17 Goodyear Duratrac's. The DRL mod was done, as was a custom rack setup similar to the org. cross bars. Blacked out headlights bought online, and a BOSS 1500 under-seat sub installed along with a Pioneer double-din DVD player
So, did you keep the Dynomax mufler and just add the glasspack, or did you replace the mufler w/ the cherrybomb? Your experience with that cat-back sounds exactly like others'. I'd love to hear your setup

I installed the cherry bomb in front of the muffler about 6 inches after the y-pipe. If you wanted a little more sound you could go with a shorter cherry bomb but I think it sounds just right.

I think the Flowmaster was a bit louder but didnt really enjoy the loss in power and MPG!..... I think the Borla has just the right tone, plus it feels alot more responsive.

I put on a VX Series that is, from what I read and am told, the exact same thing as a Flowmaster 40 Series and it sounds great. The mechanic was surprised that I had a V6.

    I like my Dynomax ST.
Maybe I'm turning into a curmudgeon but there are few things that I despise more than an offensively loud exhaust.

Running Dynomax Super Turbo catback. I think it adds the perfect sound. Not too loud but added a little something something to the stock set up.
