i just installed a flowmaster 50 series deltaflow on my 95 2.7 about a week ago and i was kinda unhappy with it.... i mean i wanted a "louder" exhaust but i didnt want it to be really loud.... well after installing it im pissed that i dropped the 140 bucks on it because i still cant hear it....lol... i can hear a little growl/snarl in the lower rpms but thats it.... i should have gotten the 40 series!... i think im going to do a splitter and put a tailpipe out each side and mabe that will help....

with the exhaust being on the passenger side of the vehicle i cant hear it unless the passenger window is rolled down...

06 s/c . It dosent make much sence to change out anything else, ie headers and on back. The stock muffler is your wors enemy on a tacoma.
Im Way happy with Aero. :D

What is so different about AeroTurbine® muffler technology?

While AeroTurbine® mufflers offer significant advantages over competing mufflers, such as increased horsepower, torque, and fuel economy as well as lower temperatures, the source of these benefits comes down to airflow. After over three years of research in the aerodynamics of exhaust gases, we have developed the most technologically advanced muffler available. The AeroTurbine® uses the same basic design and technique as a jet engine. By diverting slower moving outside air around the faster moving inside air, it creates a vortex that literally pulls the air off the head and out of the exhaust. The outer air stream further acts as an insulator dampening the sound and lowering the exhaust tone. The AeroTurbine® also spools up the turbo faster, when one is available, because of the vacuum effect created by the turbine, thereby further increasing the vehicles performance.

Well you will be happy with it just make sure you tell them the tone that you want and what your looking to get out of a aftermarket muffler.

All those other brands out there, Im sure there fine but I always see them as if you cant make power make noice. lol

Im running 4.0L with Dual Flowmaster super 44's, Trueflow XDI intake, and I took the 2nd set of cats off. This sound amazing. If you are looking for and extreamly loud but yet deep tone this would be the route to take. The trueflow xdi sounds awsome when you floor it. Sounds like a v8!

Love it - just like everyone else says, it's not intrusive or annoying for everyday driving, but when you really get on it (say, above 3500 RPM) you will get the attention of those around you.

It also sounds very smooth during regular driving, alluding to the fact that there's a lot more under the hood than you're using.

Does anybody have some sound clips of all different exhausts for a 4 banger? I'm deciding between a Flowmaster 40 original or something else (that y'all recommend) :p
