    Quoted for truth.

I HAD to replace my OEM due to the bud built trac bar and hated the idea of it, OEM was perfect.

I went with a walker 2.5 that is made to be like OEMs, meaning quiet. Still a bit louder than stock at certain loads. In hindsight the shop I took it to had a giant pile of cut off OEMs, I could have probably gone with whatever fit for cheap and be quiet.

I guess it's an age thing. I was all about exhausts when younger, now I don't care to hear my engine's struggles, I want to hear my music or podcast.

I have Magnaflow 14377. Very low restriction ( I have a supercharger) and a pleasant sound at idle. Push the go pedal and she comes alive At cruise, very little drone.

Ended up going with a dynomax ultraflow from summit racing. I’ll get it welded on here when it arrives with my buddies then let y’all know about the results

Also have a Dynomax. I chopped the exhaust and have a nice 90 degree bending that extends over the frame. I like it. Nothing obnoxiously loud, thoating idle/low end.

Well turns out that when I ordered my muffler from summit racing, they decided not to tell me that it was an offset/offset pattern so now I don’t know what the hell to do. Is their anything I can do to make this work so that I don’t have to return it or would my best bet be getting one that is centered on both sides?

When you ordered, did you specify your vehicle and motor? If you ordered for your vehicle they’ll take it back and ship the correct one. They’ll take it back anyway but you may pay shipping if it’s your mistake.

What size should we go with?

    I'm looking at a 2.5" Magnaflow universal 18" muffler.

I bought a 2.5 one, the stock pipe size is 2 1/4 but I can just get some exhaust adapters and weld it on that way

From California, I went with an 18" Magnaflow. Was a direct fit replacement however the sound is good, it's a little more drone than I'd like. something quieter is in the near future.

I know this is an old post but I can’t find anyone else with this muffler, how loud is it? And is it holding up well?

I just cut the pipes mid-vehicle. Not too loud, just right.

    still running it.

it's not very loud. can hear the exhaust with the windows up but still have a conversation. outside of the truck it has a nice mellow tone that's throatier than stock but not at all raspy.
