Mule Expedition Outfitters Open House

That was my favorite part of our safety meeting this week, we have to wash our hands with soap and water, on a jobsite with no running water. What’s That you say? Hand sanitizer? Well when all the stores are sold out and you have 200 guys trying to use the sanitizer in the out house, it doesn’t last long.

I was doomed from the start

 

I thought OSHA required potable water and ensure it is only used for employee health and personal needs, such as drinking water and washing hands.

 

I'll be there. In a hazmat suit if need be.

 

Yeah we have drinking water, not water to wash hands. Today they just brought out some hand wash stations, but it’s not potable water. This is the first new construction site that I’ve been on where we even had something like that brought out

 

Unless things change by April, doubt this will be going on. State just closed down restaurants, bars, and movie theaters and small events/gatherings "unless organizers meet specific criteria for hygiene and social distancing", the distance is minimum of 6' radius.

CBs are also an option lol

 

I plan on being there

 

We can just all go, keep 6' Radius in our trucks and use skype or discord to "socialize" while we wave to each other. The vendors can then come around, 1 at a time, to show us their wares and hand over brochures in hermetic sealed medical grade disinfected bags!

Definitely interested pending work schedule and Covid-19 related things and stuff. Doubt it's going to happen but on a side note do I need to sign up or can I just go?....

 

no need to sign up, i just make the 'attending list' to get an idea of how many people to expect (more important for the monthly meets since they can be held at smaller places)

Hey ya'll. We will be rescheduling the Open House. Once we have a date set I will update. I'm sure we will all be ready to get together at that point. I hope everyone is staying healthy, and not going too crazy!
