Just wondering if someone on here can help me out with this. I have this multimeter (pictured) and need to test a standard power outlet in my house to see if it has current, however, i have no idea what setting it should be on. Can it be tested with this meter?
Any help with this is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Dial that baby over to the 200 on the right scale. If you are looking for 220,then roll it to the 600 scale.

I hate that everything has symbols anymore, dergh. The "V~" represents alternating current which is what your house has. Set it to 200 and you should be good to go.

Looks like V~ 200 should be voltage alt current 200. Do you have a user manual?
