Hey everyone, I have a 2008 SR5 TRD Sport 4WD 6SP Manual. I have some big problems with my truck and I would really appreciate anyone who can take the time to help out. Not long ago, I had the serpentine belt snap on my truck due to a rusty idler pulley. The coolant overheated and exploded out of the reservoir cap before I had the opportunity to pull over. However, I thought the truck may not have overheated enough to damage the engine because I didn't have to add much coolant back. I replaced the idler pulley and changed out just about all the fluids as a COVID project (transmission, power steering, coolant, differentials and transfer case). Also changed the air filter. Everything except the engine oil which I had already changed prior to the serpentine belt snapping. I had also changed the spark plugs very soon before the belt snapped. Also, because I purchased a rusty northern truck, I took the time to spray rust reformer and undercoating all under the vehicle and paint the exhaust pipes.

Today, I plugged in my OBII scanner and found 16 problems! A/F Sensor Bank Sensor 1, HO2S Bank Sensor 2, EGS Mon. B2S1, EGS Mon. B2S2, Catalyst - Bank 1, Catalyst Mon. B2, EVAP, EGS Heater Mon. B1S2, EGS Heater Mon. B2S2, Misfire, Misfire, Misfire, Misfire, Misfire, Mis-Fire Cyl 5 Data, Mis-Fire Cyl 6 Data.

Just wanted to get some opinions on what the next steps should be/or what you would do if it were your truck. I know it's a lot, and I appreciate anyone who can take the time to help out. Thanks.

It would be better if you had posted the actual Codes instead of a description....

    Example: P0XXX

Yeah I know but that's all my scanner is telling me for free. I might have painted somewhere I shouldn't have. I accidentally painted the part of the oxygen sensors that screws into the exhaust. Don't know if that affects anything or not. Covered all the other sensors including the other end of the oxygen sensors while I was painting. Painted all the exhaust with high heat paint all the way to the engine. Can you guys think of anything else overheating might have messed up? Spark plugs maybe?

I'll go run and check on the fuses.

Did you paint the actual part of the Sensor that gets screwed INSIDE the exhaust?
To do this would required the Sensor to be OUT of exhaust bung while you were painting.

I’m a bit confused as to what exactly you painted?

No, I just painted it on the outside while it was already screwed in, only on the bottom portion that is on the exhaust pipe if that makes sense. The other end that plugs in (instead of screws in) was covered. I doubt that would affect it, just didn't know for sure. Is there anything along the exhaust that shouldn't have been painted? The painting might not even be an issue, just was thinking about it considering the readings I'm getting.

I checked the fuses and everything was good.
