Music pause when going from Bluetooth to radio

So my old f150 with sync used to do this. I would steam Bluetooth music from my phone and when I would stop and turn off truck. Come back. Song would continue off where it was. Same as if I was listening to Bluetooth phone and go to am or fm and come back. It would continue where it was. Seems like on the tacoma I have to hit pause before I turn the truck off for it to continue off when I come back. Anyone know how to make it more friendly for the lazy who don't want to pause every time before going to radio and coming back. Etc. Hope this doesn't sound confusing

 

something is not right with your setup.... I regularly stream music from my phone through Bluetooth and when I turn off the car and turn it back on... it resumes exactly where it last played.

Make sure you Enture software is up to date (I believe one update so far) and your operating system on your phone is current. good luck.

May be your phone. I have an IPhone and when it senses the loss of bluetooth, it pauses the song. When it reconnects, it starts playing from where it left off.

 

I go into my screen and click on software update and it is greyed out. How do I know if there's an update and how do I update ?

 

I have an s6 edge with latest software on my phone

 

Ok I just tried an old iPhone I had laying around and the music pauses when changing and starts off where it was. Must be a phone thing. Thanks for your guys help. I'll look into it further

in canada we don't have entune, she wasn't much help over the phone for me, but i tried the google play music app thats on my phone and it pauses as its supposed to, it might be just the native samsung music app that doesn't work properly, i think its a samsung problem, thanks for your guys help

 

Ahhhh, I'm in Canada too. We're getting ripped off. I read that Pandora is buying RDIO, so maybe we'll get some additional features.

so i used my google play music app for a bit, it would pause when i switched between sources and continue off where i was when i came back, then the google music app stopped doing it too, i think its a phone problem, i don't think its a truck problem, but i don't know, i might go into dealer and see if theres an update for the software maybe.

 

If anyone was curious, I use a new music player now and it works flawlessly. Must be an android problem. But tried a new s7 on marshmallow and that worked too. Oh well.
