I think there are arround 70 on the disc itself and then atleast that many again as downloadable content.

It is better because it lets up to 4 people play together, and I will not give another red cent of my money to the guitar hero series because of the fact that they sued sony and harmonix to stop the release of a patch that would have enabled the guitar hero guitar to work in rockband for the PS3. I would like to be able to play 4 player, and I would have liked to have the guitar hero 3 game to play with sometimes as well, but I REFUSE to have more plastic crappy ass guitar controllers than I have real guitars. As it is I have two the rock band guitar, and the guitar hero II guitar. To be able to play multiplayer for all the games out there I would need 6 plastic guitar controllers and that is rediculous. The guitar hero people need to get their shit together and play nice with their competition as well as support their older games with their new guitar. My PS3 can play PS2 games (I paid extra to get the model that can) but my ps2 guitar hero games can't be played on the ps3 becasue the older controllers won't work with the ps3 and the new guitar hero 3 controller won't work with either them or rockband. (Yes, I am aware that if I had bought an xbox 360 I would not be having these problems, but I like to many of the sony proprietory titles like god of war and gran tourismo) It's crap, and that is why rockband is better than guitar hero.

Back to your regularly scheduled real guitar thread...

I have played guitar for 32 years now (damn, I am old). I started at age 6 but didn't get real serious until about 11 or 12 when I saw Randy Rhoads play live with Ozzy. I did a lot of studio work in the late 80s until I went to college. I basically didn't play at all when I was in school. These days I still do some studio work, a lot of writing and some producing of other people's music. My studio work is limited to a solo here and there. I was in a lot of different bands but nothing in the last 6 years or so. I have a slew of gear. For guitars, I play Anderson, ESP, Charvel, and a custom GMW I really like. I also have a cool Warwick bass. I plan to put out a solo CD soon. I have like 11 tracks in the bag and would like to get to 15.

Here is my soundclick page. Check out "The Patriot" I am proud of that one. It is a tribute our armed forces. There is a lot of other stuff on there also.

NICE equipment Duck!!! I just mess around now, but from '00 to '06 I was pretty series with a band. I mainly did vocals but I also was the rhythm guitarist. I have a couple of Ibanez myself and a Griffin, all played through a full stack Marshall. It was fun while it lasted, got to tour in Japan!

At work (after hours jam heh) I have a Line6 guitar port on the PC. Also have my amp "in storage" at work, but never play it. No amp at home, I use a DigiTech RP250 going analog (not via USB) into an M-Audio Delta44, internal patchbay in the PC, use the bedroom hifi as "studio" monitors.

Been playing guitar about 25 years. Got only 5 guitars, but my baby is a home-made Frankenstein type thing made from random parts. This is the guitar (and me  ):

I found this video on youtube is the National Youth Symphony Orchestra, the guy conducting is my local orchestra conducting. Maestro Modesto Gaytan, and I am at his left side as the Concertmaster taken in 2007.

Ive only been playing Guitar for roughly 3 years now so Im still learning alot. I have an acoustic Epiphone DR and an Electric Epiphone Les Paul Standard (my baby).

On a side. This past week I went to Memphis for the first time and I saw the Gibson guitar factory and it was great. Got to see how all the Gibson's were made and some cool facts. I really enjoyed it!
