good to know this exists. i was wondering if there was something like it. not a priority mod, but i am sure i will want/need to get one for some project down the road. or maybe get some friends with more welding experience to build me something. thanks for the idea.

Tell me more about the box.

2019 SPORT did not even come with a driver side bed cubby. :argh:

Has anyone added a left box?

My list was based on my previous experience with my Jeep JK and an older F-150.

    1. Bartact front and rear seat covers- a little over $300
I had these in my JK and they went in and out fairly easily, which is important for me because dogs (see avatar). They are a little fussier on the Tacoma than they were on the JK, but I'm confident that they'll last- Especially since I've added a dog taco in the back seat for my boy, and a bed in the front seat for my girl.

    2. 67 Designs Tacorail- about $70 bucks
The 67 Designs phone holder is the best solution I've come across to hold my large IPhone. Easy, one-handed operation and it mounts nicely on top of the bezel above the radio. I have another holder for my SPod touchscreen there as well. The rail installed easily and holds everything I need it to.

    3. SPod- $700ish
I don't care for switches littered all around the cabin to do simple things. I picked up the SPod for the JK a couple of years ago, and only had to add a touchscreen for the new Tacoma application. Yes it's expensive, but like everyone says, "buy once, cry once". It works really well to integrate my ditch lights (and soon my front bar).

    4. BakFlip Revolver X4- $1000 or so
I don't see a lot of utility, personally, without a tonneau cover, and I wanted to try this one. I think it looks good, secures the bed as well as any I've seen, and is easy to use. I does appear to leak more than the BakFlip tri-fold that I had, however.

    5. BedRug- $400ish
The bed of my truck won't be used for hauling mulch or dirt and I didn't want it to get all scratched up. Installed fairly easily and I think it really looks great. Does tend to hold moisture currently, however.

    6. Ratcheting Cargo Bars from Tractor Supply- $25 each
These ratchet outwards in increments and help to secure anything in the bed I have. I like their utility, and the fact that I can remove them as needed.

    7. Weathertech in-channel door visors- Around $125
I had these on the Jeep, and grew to appreciate them for helping to keep the interior cool and protected.

    8. Glovebox and center console organizers- Around $30

    9. Front window tint to match the rear- Around $100

    Upcoming additions:
    1. Pop and Lock for rear tailgate
    2. Remote starter
    3. Low profile front bumper / winch mount
    4. Aftermarket radio & Kicker speakers

Today I installed my own “Pop and Lock” and it only cost me 12 bucks. I got the 12v actuator off Amazon and wire from the hardware store. It was fun and works like a dream.
