    Hey I was just wondering if anyone had some suggestions for easy must have mods I could do...truck is pretty much stock so anything is appreciated.

    Is that strictly an 05 problem or did 06 models also come sans filter?

    Look at the Mods & tutorials at the top of the page. This should give you some good ideas.

    I think you have the "jack stand" mod down pretty good:D

    I've got an 08' (sorry to bump in). Has anyone installed rear backup camera ? wiring etc, this is a must have from 05-08 i think

    anyone have some tips on painting the wheels?? and about debadging.. how hard is it to put them back on?

    I think 2 must have mods include the extra d-rings and the pop & lock. Both are excellent

    None yet- Future: HIDs, Tinted tails, LED interior lights,
    Check the wheel and tire sub forum there should be a sticky for painting the wheels. And theres a sticky for debadging as well. And all you do is, once they are painted, get some 3M automotive double sided tape and stick 'em back on.

    Yup. I've got an 07'. I just did it the other day. Unfortunately the only Toyota part used was the tailgate handle. Anyone wish to see pics?
