There are a lot of upgrades (mods) you can do to your Tacoma, let your wallet decide....but none are particularly important.

I find its very important to upgrade your fuel, the amount of needed upgrade always depends on how much upgrading you did the last time, and how many miles you travelled since the last fuel upgrade. If you don't then I hope you have upgrade sneakers.

Ok, now thats out of the way, what kind of upgrades are you talking? Like upgrade from the 2nd gen to a 3rd? Or suspension and tires? There are a lot of questions that you may need to answer before some one can answer your question.

Just some basic things if you don't already have them: bed mat to prevent things sliding around in your bed, all weather floor mats for easy clean-up, seat covers to protect the fabric factory ones (unless you have leather)...

I've been happy with the one I bought from my dealership. I haven't heard of very many aftermarket mats that are custom fit (some are cut to fit)

D rings for the bed. Some type of lockable bed cover. Pop-n-lock for the tailgate. Upgrade the speakers and tweeters.

The only after market I have heard of is folks buying a mat at Tractor Supply and cutting it to fit.

I think my yota bed mat was worth the price.

I have an aftermarket bed mat... Don't know the name anymore. Works fine. They're out there but the dealer's is just fine I imagine.

If minimizing weight is any consideration the OEM bed mat weighs in at about 30 lbs. There is a very similar aftermarket one but it is almost double that weight. For sure on the OEM mat IMHO.

I'm no pro on tint (i've used 3m in the past and have been happy with it), but there are a bunch of other threads here that have more informed experiences/opinions on various tints.
