My wife has been complaining for some time about a “musty” smell in my 2016 Limited…I couldn’t smell it so didn’t worry about it until today. I was cleaning the truck and after removing the driver side Weathertech floor mat noticed the carpet under it was damp. I pulled up the carpet and found the sound deadening mat below it was soaking wet although the metal floor seemed dry underneath it. I’ve never left the window open and have no idea how the carpet could have gotten wet under the Weathertech.

Does anyone have any ideas? It’s been very wet here in south Mississippi and I’ve driven thru some very high water but since the metal floor seemed dry not sure that could have caused it.

    Thanks!

Check your ac drain tube and see if it’s clogged. I think it runs through the passenger side under the dash and may be leaking on the floorboard.

It would be leaking on the driver’s side? That’s where it’s wet.
