I just wanted to give a tip to anyone who has a musty smell in their truck. What is strange with my situation is that my truck was completely fine until I took it to Bell Tire for an alinement. They only drove into the garage and back out, so I am sure it really had nothing to do with the smell, but when I got back into it there was a strong musty smell that would not go away. I looked under the seats and all over for something that may be causing it. I also checked the cabin filter, ac drain line, looked all over for a leak and ran the vents on high for a while. Also, I soundproofed the doors and behind the seat, so I took the panels off to make sure I did not block a drain. Turns out it was the bottom of the driver side floor mat. The rubber picked up a musty odor and after taking the mat out, it was gone. I soaked the mat over night in vinegar and Tide and I still not sure the smell is out of it, but I put it back in the truck for now. I am going to get the 3D mats for the front, but they are out of stock for about 4 months. I have their mat in the back and it’s really nice.
