Finally got my clunking figured out. It WAS the body mount bushings, or they were the root cause. My sliders were welded up almost touching the pinch weld, the raggedy body mount bushings were allowing the body to shake enough to contact the slider ( maybe other areas also) causing the racket. Changed the bushings out and no more clunk, SOOO much better to drive now!

how hard was it to swap them out? Im assuming it helped with body roll around turns as well?

the rear cab mount is pretty easy, the mid mount thats under the floor pans is a PITA! the body did NOT want to lift high enough to pull the factory mount out. Once the factory mount is out, the synergy multi piece bushings are much easier to get back in.

The body roll does appear to be reduced as well as overall road noise and ride. Big improvement for some elbow grease and less than $100 in rubber bushings

Energy suspension, purchased through Amazon was a bit cheaper than buying direct. Yea id say 3-4 hours of work. Hard part is getting the body lifted high enough off of the frame to get the stockers out. I did it the ghetto way for sure. I put the factory bottle jack on top of my floor jack with a piece of 2x4 and ran the floor jack up until the wood touched the body, then used my impact to run the bottle jack up.
