Just some random mods/cosmetics, nothing expensive/major atm since I got college full time and a part time job. Just a 22 y/o having a bit of fun. I'll try to have the part install dates (some pictures were taken at different dates) and maybe part prices if possible. Thank you for looking!

4/20/18: Got my first truck at 20 years, and put a 2008 Chevy Colorado Leer bed cap although it was an inch longer it was alright. Odometer: 105k

May-Dec. '18: Got a 1st gen. Taco JASON bed cap for $150 in decent condition, replaced the rusty chrome rear bumper with a black one ($100), got a FM FlowFX muffler ($60 plus install) and a chrome 3" tip ($30 plus install). Also tinted the third light and amber part of the taillight with Rustoleum spray tint, added some TRD OFFROAD decals to the bed and windshield ($30 for all). 4/27/18: AVS hood bug deflector ($60)

Jan '19: Bought a set of 1st gen Sequioa wheels locally for $130, some new cheap running board on ebay for $100 and different types of led bulbs from ebay to replace all the lights in the interior including the instrument panel (Around $120, if you need the socket types I'll let you know). Replaced the running and reverse lights with some LASFIT T15 LEDS ($14 a pair), rear side markers to some ebay offbrand 1156 bulbs ($12 for 4), and installed some ebay type 2 led switchbacks ($24) for the front side markers (Didn't do the 3-wire socket mod after a month) and of course a plug-in LED relay switch ($8) in the interior fuse box.

March-April '19: 20% Windshield ($40) cut and installed (2 in. below the AS1 line) one day I'll tint the whole windshield when I get a waiver, AEM Dry-Flow filter ($50) and smoked turn signal housings ($20). The Satoshi grille mod is currently my favorite mod of the truck had it almost color matched with 2 silver plasti-dip cans ($12 a can), black aftermarket grille ($60) Grille inserts from customcargrills ($90), Toyota emblem ($35), TRD emblem ($10), and some time to cut. 4/27/19 Odometer:114k

where'd you get the all black TRD stickers? I hate the red on mine, plus they're falling off.

Welp, finished a little mod. Wired a 4runner key ignition ring light to the dome light through the driver side pillar, so it turns on when doors open and off when shut. I also fixed the issue with the dome light LED flickering when light is on but no key in, with one resistor soldered on the bulb (1W & 82 Ohms I got from Frys R.I.P).20190903_201730[1].jpg

There are 2 solid black wires in the pillar, I pulled down a bit of the headliner to see which one leads to the dome light (Third picture) and only one prob balck and white. ground? To the wiring (The first and second picture since I extended the ring wires with some black ones) , from the light ring the green wire is spliced to the factory black and white, the white and black wire is spliced to the factory solid black.

My mistakes from getting parts from 4runners, DON'T get the smaller hole 1" ring (right side) got it from a Limited, the right size your looking for is 1 3/4" plus get the black plastic ring to attach to the plate.
