Done and done. Minus a few little things I need to take care of such as axle straps, winch wiring and OBA relocation.
Some not so responsible flexing in my neighborhood.

All in all a good build. I hope to never have to do again. Haha
The hoops fit so nicely in the fender wells I couldn't believe it. But of course because I mounted the reservoirs on the outside of the hoop I had to clear the box. This was done with a less than nice 9"x12" hole on either side of the box.

Lets see the holes in the bed :D

Did you really get 2.5" bumps or 2.0's? 2.5's are huge. 2.0's are plenty of bump for our rigs.

    2.0s. For the bumps.
Yeah I had the box over a my parents place. As soon as I extended the hoops I figured I wasn't gonna be having wheel wells so the thought never occurred to me. :p

Noticed some rubbing on the shock from the new 35s.
Took a further look and found this.
    IMG_20140628_150835.jpg
    IMG_20140628_150815.jpg

Had to cut and relocate the lower shock mounts in a little further. This gave me a little extra space but I may look invest in some new wheels that'll give me a little more space.

Gave me a little more space. She will get really tight at full bump though.
    IMG_20140628_224244.jpg

    Well.... more trimming lol
    IMG_20140628_224359.jpg

    Found this while test flexing.
Guess the bumper is hitting the fender while flexing. A little adjustment should fix that.

Against my better judgment I have gone with some spacers. This should help with the rubbing.

I don't think there is anybody out there running their oversized shocks outboard of the frame with 12.50 tires that isn't running spacers. If they are then the don't wheel...

I am doing a DMZ SUA lt kit right now and was wondering about these shock hoops. From pelfreybilt there seems to be extra space to go up which is how you were able to add the extensions into the hoop. Did you measure the full drop and full comression to figure out how much more you could add to the hoop to make the top of the shock land in the right spot? Also it doesn't seem like there was a whole lot of space between the shock and the bump stop. do you think you could have fit a piggy back shock in there (I have a 12" double bypass piggyback)?

I wish I could tell you. The pelfreybilt was designed for 12" shocks, this I know.
I have a feeling when I flipped the bumpstop mount over on the plate it brought it closer to where the shock would be.

Shoot Tyler a PM. Socalduckslayer. He is Pelfreybilt and will give you a ton of info. He's knows his product like no one else.

Yeah I can't wait to take her out again and run it with the spacers. I have a feeling I may still rub......
