Sorry, I'm just tired of the threads that have being show up more and more lately just to get a rise out of people.

Is there any wiring behind the blanks? This would tell you a lot about whether it is just the switch missing or wiring and all.

You said you bought it used so anything is possible. How do you know the truck came with factory fogs? just because it said at the dealer, they may have been duped too. You said you can follow the wiring from the fogs to how far back?

nice attitude dude, i think a lot of people are trying to help you, a pic of your truck can tell us a world of difference on whether or not your truck came with fogs or not, is your bumper black (assuming your truck is not black)?

u talked about the whole set up being wired on the inside to the battery, if you disconnect the wire to the battery (not the entire car battery positive terminal) does your "aftermarket" lights on the push bar still light up, if they don't that's probably for them, and not your "factory" fogs, which may or may not be factory, and could or could not have been ever wired

So I guess this shows Im no "Troll" The pics i posted shows the aftermarket wiring going to the foglights on the Bushbar. These wires go directly to the aftermarket switch on the fake switchpanel. The one pic shows the factory wiring going strait to the backside of the factory foglights.

Okay, based on the pics, your truck did not come with fogs from the factory (someone correct me if wrong). They would have been added afterwards, someone may have been in the process of adding them when they sold the truck. You may have OEM lights/wiring, but they did not come from the factory there. Again correct me if wrong, they do not come on the base model, only PreRunner and up (TRD OffRoad/SPORT, etc.)

The factory switch would be in the blank spots above the mirror adjuster in this pic (far left). On the black part of the dash, check those blanks to see what may be behind them.

Yup, your truck did not come with fogs from the factory. If it is a V6 it may be pre wired for it (There may be a fog light switch harness behind the top left blank), if it is a 4cyl you will have to wire it up from scratch.

i agree, they don't seem to be factory fogs, or I guess they could technically be oem fogs, but they were added on after because it is the base model (NOT SR5), not because it's not a prerunner or 4x4 (he's got 6 lugs)

Holy wiring shit show Batman! What else is wired up in there? I see 2 in-line fuses and a white and red wire both going to the positive side of the battery. It looks like he may have been trying to wire up the fog lights himself.

Thanks for all the replies guys Looks like I may just have to buy a Factory Switch and put the Foglight relay back in the fuesbox and go from there. If this truck didnt come with the Fogs from the factory then someone sure made them look like they came that way.

Took the top 3 blank switchpanels out (above the mirror adjuster switch) and the Far left blank had a 4 wire plug on it, the middle plug there was no wiring behind it and the Right plug has a 5 wire plug behind it.

Pull everything from the oem looking fog lights( and the brush bar ones too if you are getting rid of them) and buy a kit off of Amazon. I bought the kit off amazon wired it myself and I'm very happy with the look

that switch is around $50. who ever put them in probably didn't want to pay that much for the switch and just put the lights in for looks
