Level ground, low speed(40mph), just stopped ..... Not struggling, no starting and stopping, no noises that I noted. Seemed like a fuse to something or relay just clicked out.
I tried to restart...turns over but nothing....except the slightest try. That slight try is after the key was rotated on and off several times listening for the fuel pump. Lights all work I'm stumped your thoughts anyone have a similar break down.??? Pls help.....where to start eliminating things?

Check the mass air flow sensor. Google or search TW for instructions on how to clean it. If that doesn't work, replace it. I've had them fail on two different japanese cars, and the symptoms fit your description.

Ok...I've cleaned the Mass airflow sensor. Also pulled the housing and cleaned the throttle body. Still will not start??
I did however spray some cleaner into the throttle body and she runs on the cleaner until it is burnt up.....I did not re assemble the air flow body before using the spray to start the engine. I can go buy a mass air sensor but the running on spray makes me think might be a fuel pump?? Any ideas ?? Really need to get her going....my only auto!!
How would I check the fuel pump pressure?
As info 175000 miles never changed anything but fluids regularly and plugs...never any issues

I cannot feel any clicking while touching the fuel pump relay as the key is turned on and off?? Thinking about making a short jumper and connecting the two large lugs at the fuse panel...bypassing the relay ....? will this hurt anything...oem denso relay with 3 small lugs and 2 larger lugs.

Have someone in the truck to try and start it. Using a rubber mallet whack the bottom of the tank near the pump. If it starts there is your culprit. Time for a new fuel pump.

I beat the tank with a rubber mallet....as my wife cranked the motor....cranked but no start.
The relay I cannot feel it click but can hear a click with a screwdriver to my ear....slight click and about half a second after the key is turned on....guess it ok?
ANYONE KNOW IF THERE IS A VALVE TO CHECK THE FUEL PUMP PRESSURE. that is to be the next step Before I pull the tank down....just thought before I spend 500.00 !! On a fuel pump and drop the tank I want to be 100% sure
How about a good after market fuel pump assembly cheaper than what I've found thus far or is the factory pump the way to go?

I see pump assembly at 5-600.00 and a denso pump that appears is the pump that would need to be installed at 190.00? Anyone have experience with the denso pump. I installed a pump in a chevy truck a few years back just had to change a couple hoses after taking the pump assembly/ sender unit apart. I really hate to spend 500 on a fuel pump. Any suggestions?
I will check the battery voltage as well but with the starter spinning over good I don't know why that might be an issue.

If the car is running on carb cleaner then dies I'm thinking fuel related. Could be debris in the lines if it's not the pump. Are you sure the fuel gauge is working maybe it is out?

Your truck isn't brand new so a pump or debris are possible causes
