I bought my tacoma last august with 55k miles from a local dealer. Spent alot of time searching and this was about the only dbl cab i could find. The first mod was a home made sotoshi style grille. From there i put on the ultra phantom wheels and 32 inch goodyear wrangler tires. With the larger tires, i needed to remove the mud flaps, which ended up causing r ocks to ding my doors due to the offset of the rims causing the tires to stick out slightly. To counter this, i installed the oem toyota running boards. I decided on these because they provide good coverage, and look nice since they sit tight to the rocker panels. I didnt want anything that hung too low or took away ground clearance, although i found out the tradeoff is that they are next to useless as a step since they are up so high. Next, i decided it was time for some performance upgrades, so i installed a trd cai and urd maf cal. Next came the doug thorley long tube headers and urd mark 3 exhaust. I gotta say the dtlt headers made IMPRESSIVE power gains relative to the other mods. Along with those came an aem afr guage which gave me the ability to do a little street tuning to optomize all my mods. And now more recently i ponied up for an OME lift kit. I wanted to do dakar aal's and tc ucas, but that nearly doubles the cost, so maybe some time down the road. Either way, my truck looks wayyy nicer now with the more agressive stance, and i havent noticed too many driveline issues. A few other small touches are the shorty antenna, and trd windshield decal. As far as future plans my ultumate goal is to get a urd supercharger system. As for now, i have a map ecu 3, exhaust cam gears and cooler thermostat sitting in a box, waiting for me to install them (as time allows). I really want to try to get as much as i can out of my n/a engine before i get a chance to boost. With the piggy back ecu among the other addons i should be able add a little bit of timing and squeez out a few more ponies. Hopefully all said and done i will be sitting at 250 rwhp. I also cant wait to be able to tweak closed loop afr witht the map ecu3 afr asjust addon, because the power surge from cloped to open loop pretty clearly says that theres alot more low end power to be had if i could richen it up a bit. Anyways, that got long, but there an introduction to my truck and everything done and to be done to it. And it certainly wouldnt have made it this far without all the help from fellow tw members. Thanks to everybody whose posted about some of these things.

Thanks, and thanks. I'm excited to be here. Hopefully I will be able to contribute.
