I've noticed my truck has 5 blower motor speeds, not 4 like it should. High, med high, med low, Low, and when switched to off, It still blows but at a lower speed than Low, if that makes sense. Is this normal or is there a relay or resistor of some sort that needs replaced to make the blower motor turn off completely when switched to off? I'm worried it will lead to the blower motor going out prematurely. Thanks!

Is there only air coming out if your driving? If so that's normal as driving will force air out of the vents even if the blower is off.

Yes, It's only when the vehicle is running. Meaning in drive or in park, the blower is constantly running even when switched off. Not a huge deal but kind of annoying when I just want the airflow to stop. I usually will turn it to defrost to get it off my feet and face if I don't want it blowing. Another weird thing that happens when i do this is it seems the AC will kick on in the defrost position if I have the temp turned to anything cold. The AC button is not lit up but i can tell that the air coming out near the windshield is colder than normal and it actually causes condensation to form on the windshield. I have to switch the temp to slighly warm to get it to stop pumping out A/C. Anyone ever heard of this with the 2.5 gens?

Your A/C will engage in the defrost position(s). It helps defrost your windows much more quickly. Don't worry about it.

The blower should not run when the switch is off, I'd pull the control head out and make sure nothing is melted at the blower switch.
The A/C compressor will turn on in both Defrost and Defrost/Floor and also when the temp knob it turned all the way to the left, most vehicles do that. There are mods to stop it from doing that, I did it to mine I'll have to find the thread.
