While I still have, and LOVE, my Jeep Wrangler TJ, I ended up with this pile of Toyota a few months back. It all started when I bought a 1985 Jeep CJ7 to go river Jeeping in.

I LOVED that CJ7. It was so much fun to have something "old" and carbed. That being said, I destroyed the motor one trip out in the river. It didn't really run right to begin with, so I wasn't too mad.

I was scrolling across Rockcrawler Classifieds one day when I found this farm-fabbed Toyota for sale. Low and behold, the guy was a bigger Jeep guy than a Toyota guy. I sent him a message to see if he'd want to trade for this CJ and he went for it.

I'm not sure who built it, or why they built it, but never-the-less they did, and it's awesome. It's the most redneck thing I've ever owned, but also the most capable off-road. I've done some things to it, installed harnesses, put a radio in, etc. Small things. In the future I'd like to paint it red to match my Tundra, and put dual cases under it.

It's got an axle out of an early model Toyota truck, with the stock 4.10s. It is locked front/rear. The bed was shortened about a foot. It has a 3.4 v6 out of a late model Tacoma, that runs really well.

That last picture is awesome. I love what you do for me, Toyota!

Lol... I may or may not have been quite a few beers deep.

    It really is, thank you!
