Mine had the same thing-pass side, judging by everything else I have found the P.O. must have been out wheeling and hit a rock on the tow hook, in the process of burying in a creek, still flushing sand out of the frame, even found 3/4” deep underneath the console.
I had to get that piece cut out and another welded in along with end caps before I could mount the ARB. It kinda looks like the pass frame horn got bent up a little bit when I look close but it tracks straight and is barely noticeable so it’ll do fine..

Hey Todd, question for you regarding the Coastal rear bumper... Did you have them beef up the recovery points or is that standard? In some of your pics it looks like they're thinner than in some of the others. Thanks!

No, they are as they come from them. They are made of 3 parts, the center is the part that extends back the the frame horn. That is sandwiched between 2 outer pieces that are smaller. Once welded all together, it's plenty strong still.

Excellent. Thanks for the quick feedback!

I may have pulled the trigger on one of these last night :gossip::D

I just finished up their front bumper, I went through your write up a few times, thanks for documenting it!

Sweet. Did you go with their rear bumper as well? I was wondering what your plans were when I saw you selling your other bumpers.

I’m beyond stoked, man! I think I’m more excited to weld it myself than I am to actually have it on the truck. I waived off on the swing out because I’m likely going to design and fab my own.

High clearance plate for the rear without a swing out for now. I keep hitting the rear on everything and got tired of it lol. I can still fit my spare in the stock location, and don't want to deal with overhang/more weight out back than I need to right now.

Yeah, the TG rear does a decent job protecting things, but it does kinda hang out there.

I’ve never been a huge fan of hanging a big tire off the end of the frame, but it either lives there or in the bed taking up a ton of space...

Yea, I think it was you that had the idea of a bed rack mounted tire, or the other popular thing is a swing out tailgate.

Yeah, I can’t find a way to use the bed rack without the tire still being in the way. A tire gate might be a cool option if I could find a way to not take up too much of the back of the bed and if it can be made rigid enough to handle my 315 spare.

There is a guy in California that was making his version of a tiregate.

Yeah, there are a few dudes on here that are doing their own homebrew tiregates. It’s an interesting idea.

I started to make one, but stopped just before mounting my tire onto it. I realized that I like using my tailgate as a work surface too much.
