Thank you very much! I like its stance too, usually sits a bit lower in the rear when it's loaded for exploring (pretty much all it's used for anymore). I love the 33s, the kept my differential off the rocks a lot last trip and they clear the fender and suspension well. They're C load rated BFG Mud Terrains so they're pretty squishy, nice and soft off road and I keep em pumped up quite a bit on the road. Just did 1,500mi of highway and about 300 of dirt in MT and WY and they were great.

Quick question. What would you replace first. When installing my OME kit and having my truck on the lift noticed that my CV axle was pretty bad. Would you replace first the lower ball joints or completely fix and replace the both CV axles ?

When you say the CVs are damaged do you mean the boots are flinging grease everywhere or they're making clicking noises? Either way I would do the balljoints first if you are unsure of their age and mileage. This is one part I would only buy OEM as well.

The CVs you can get a kit to put new boots on them if that's all that is wrong, the OEM CVs are the strongest but autoparts store ones are so cheap that you can buy spares, that's up to you.

Yea my CV boots are torn and loose. Grease everything. Thank god no clicking noises. Here’s a pic so you can see how they look now. D965FFB1-C1E8-4592-8CB1-3C3376370303.jpg58E9FA08-5897-4D27-A567-E0585BC9ED2D.jpg

As far as replacing them, would Napa auto parts be a good place to go?

    Nice truck!

My truck is still on stands but I’m using advance auto CVs. Only suggestion I’d make is don’t have them sent to your house. 3 different axles I ordered were damaged in shipping. :angrygirl:

And if I were you I’d change lower ball joints just for peace of mind. I didn’t have a choice though...I have to change just about everything at this point.

Thank you bud. I’ll definitely do the lower ball joint first and go OEM.

Took the mud flaps off. I think it looks better that way.

Swap the CV(s) with a new one and get some boots from SDHQ, take the old boot off but leave that small part of the rubber and clamp on the axle and put the new boot over it, aka the boot slide mod :p then just keep it as a spare.
