Finally, something is going wrong. My AC will not come on (Press ac button it lights for 3 seconds and goes off ) for 5 or 10 minutes in the morning. Once it comes on it works fine. I’ll stop and shut it off for a hour or two and it comes right back on. Leave it sit over night and same deal , need to run 5-10 minutes. Any ideas. I’m thinking it must be some type of pressure switch or something like that.

This sound like you are just barely almost too low on freon.
Low pressure switch shutting system down, then as it warms it meets the spec, runs until it can't and shuts down.

Wyd driving 75k a year? Is it a work truck... just curious. I second the charge. Unless third gens are like the 2nd gens and it will only work on high. Something to do with the high setting running off a different component I believe. Maybe different blower actuator it’s been a long time. Glad to hear no other issues.

Yes, I use it for work. The last one I put 389k on it. The blower motor works fine. It’s something do do with compressor not kicking on. Low pressure switch or low pressure itself.

If i were to venture a guess, its probably a switch. Yea you've got lots of miles, but freon does not evaporate, unless of course there is a leak somewhere. Gl, let us know what it is once you get it sorted.
Congrats on Tundra too, its a beast

Yes sir, there is probably a seep. It will get worse over time. If it is low ask for uv dye injection with the insanely expensive new 1234y freon. It may last for a year or two, but no matter what with the uv dye you will know what is leaking.

Hope this helps. I don't understand what dye is not installed at the factory. It would save 1000s of man hours, and 1000s of dollars every year.

Put some gages on it and test it.... Seems it’s earned a little tlc, fantastic long term report.
