It’s really not much worse than the 4Runner we traded in on it. The trailer there has been sold we’re going bigger now. The 4Runner only got 10 11 miles to a gallon Towing that little 3000 pound trailer

I second this. I'm curious about seat seams holding up, interior buttons working, how the paint on the rocker panel behind the front wheels has held up (assuming you don't have mud flaps), things like that.

I’m only at 105k but mine has held up quite well. I don’t have any issues interior aside from the fact I need to clean it again.

Exterior I’ve got some rock chips right above the headlights on both sides but that’s it.

While I agree that there isn’t a perfect seal, I’m hesitant to believe that on 2017 Tacoma it would be an evap issue, unless of course there’s a break in a line somewhere.

Thanks for posting pictures! Looks the same as my 2017 sr and I don't have nearly that many miles. How was the carplay headunit installation, any splicing?

Age comes both ways... calendar time and hours on components. If he drove 233,000 miles in three years, assuming five day weeks, thats 300 miles a day or 1,500 miles a week or 6,000 miles a month. Most people drive around 15,000 miles a year. He drove around 77,000 miles a year. That's 5X more hours on every component. So for the average person, that's three years. For that truck, its FIFTEEN YEARS.
My record year was around 43,000 miles. That's 3X more than an average guy and that equals 3X more wear and tear.

Sounds about right, only I didn’t get this truck until May 2017 .10 years ago I got an audit from the IRS they was thinking there is no way someone drives as many miles. I proved them wrong

What do you mean you “actually work” I put 10k on my work truck a year. Seems like you “actually drive” not to talk shit but that comment doesn’t sit right with me.
Edit: if this is a shot at the amount of people collecting right now I guess I get what you’re saying. My state is 17% unemployment. But kinda seemed like a correlation between miles on your truck and work done. Correct me if I’m wrong.
