My 1st Taco

Hello everyone.
I just got ny 1st Tacoma a few weeks ago and have been lurking on the forums reading and learning what I can.

I ordered my Taco, a double cab, SR5 V6 4WD in Mag Gray, in middle of Aug and picked her up early Sept. I paid MSRP and the dealership threw in a 3piece Tonneau bed cover and rubber mats. She has less than 300miles on her and I love the truck. When I went to pick her up, the salesmen were asking $5000 over sticker to new buyers for trucks they didn't even have on the lot. I felt so lucky I ordered mine in Aug.

I used to have a 2008 4Runner SR5 V8 4WD with nearly 200,000 miles on her. Her cat converter gave out and it was time to do the timing belt again and check the shocks and suspension, and so on...so rather than fixing her up I sold her for $5000 and ordered the Tacoma.

So far I added a bed LED light and have the auto bed lock on order. Her main job will be shlepping me to work and making trips to Jettro, wholesale market for my store. Boring stuff, but 3 to 4 times a year she will be towing my boat to and from my marina. The fun stuff.

Anyway I hope to learn a lot from you guys and will ask questions from time to time if I can't find answers using the search.
