you're right. it is for you. I have one that i like, but some don't. HOWEVER - mine makes sense to damn near everyone. You already have plenty of people on here questioning it and not getting it.

One of dumbest things I have heard. It does not make sense.

That's what I thought. Live and life are esseniently the same word that can be used differently.

Do yourself a favor! And every dude that has a tatoo should say the same, would I like this in 10,20,30, or 40 years. Do I want my kids seeing this?

I have a tat of dragons and tribal and I still love it, but....

ONCE IT'S ON, IT'S FUCKING ON

And +1 to ignoring what everyone else thinks....Tattoos in general are for you....not for others. Rib tattoos are the most personal...so if it makes you happy man...GO FOR IT!![/quote]

Could not have said it any better man.

MAKE SURE IT MEANS SOMETHING TO YOU. If not, 10 years from now you have some saying on your ribs and when people ask you what it means, you'll just reply "I was young and thought it was cool at the time."

Tattoos are there for life, think very hard about what you want. It's going to be around for your whole life.
And as people say, they are for you, but Sometimes at the age of 18 running to get a tattoo can seem like you are getting it for attention.

I always wanted one, but I didn't get my first tilll I was 21Y/O.

Yes, It's there for me. It's my concept. And of course I like showing them off! Except for my back, My belly is kind of loose now. lol

tattoos arent permanent...im in the process of removing two of mine that didnt turn out so great...but it is fucking expensive. and im not trying to say dont worry you can just remove it, you still need to think long and hard (lol) about what your getting. truck mods are now on hold for me (minus the BFG ATs i just bought). also, dont let other people tell you your idea is stupid, like others have said, its your idea and your body.

its a Yin-Yang in a tribal sun. Original, no. Does damn near everyone understand a yin-yang? yes, i believe so.

Balance / Light & dark / etc. and yes, it should say idiot because i did not get it big enough, as some friends suggested.

Also, I wanted one since i was 13 and got it at 21. Carried the pic around in my wallet for 8 years. I am still happy i got it, 10 years later.

your body, do what you want, but be prepared for people to continue to ask you wtf does that mean, etc. most will be nicer than i am about it.
