My 1st Tat

alright well i know you guys hated my tattoo but whatever idk if i am going to get it or get a different one just thinking.

It is still going on my ribs but i am thinking about "Opus Dues" , it is Latin and translated to "The Work of God"

but can anyone put this into a cool font that would look good for me thanks in advance

 

Don't our pc's come w/hundreds of fonts? Try Microsoft Word program.

Whatever floats your boat. I didn't have a problem with teh first tat, i just had never heard those lyrics before and dont know what they mean. but i agree with the others thay say its your skin, and your choice. BUT if you are having second thoughts now you need to hold off until you're 100% sure. chances are if you're having second thoughts now you'll be having regrets in the future. "opus dues" is cool, but then again i think anything written in latin is cool. i have some latin in my first tat which is a trinity (definitely not original but i like it).

Not that my opinion matters since its your body, but personally i like the Opus Dues idea better than teh first. but just my 2 cents. So you're getting this done in the middle of april right? that means you're gonna miss the meet! what are you thinking dude!

yes they are. i had originally planned on one and only one. then afterwards all i could think about was getting more. i have 2 now but i want to turn my whole right shoulder and back into a celtic piece and my gf is working on an "alice and wonderland" themed one for me. I love that book. unfortunately Tim Burton is making a movie soon (of course it has johnny fucking depp in it!) and its gonna look like i just jumped on the "Alice" bandwagon and got a tat because of the movie. shit pisses me off....

Well, it's not a website. It's a religious group. I understand why you're getting it; I just wanted you to be informed about your decision.

 

I have (5), here we go: #1- When I was 14, my buddy and I made a tattoo gun out of a remote control car (OUCH!!!!). The ink is scarred into the flesh.

#2-Everyone is my Basic Training company (U.S. Army) got the same tattoo (Wolverine). It was our unit name.

#3-Got a line art drawing of my and my girl, she liked it so much, she married me, and she was WAY out of my league.

#4-I had my family Coat of Arms done while I was in Panama. It looks like shit and needs redone.

#5-I have a huge police badge surrounded by Celtic lines.

All my tats are on my back and shoulders (easy to hide).

And, well, it has some negative spin on it because of the book and movie Da Vinci Code. If you do a Google search on it, you'll see what I mean.

The Opus Dei character is the one that whips himself in front of the picture of Jesus Christ right... i never knew that there was such a thing as the Opus Dei.

I am still getting the tattoo, but now i know that it is a controversial topic and if someone asks me why i can tell them "i'm not an opus dei follower i got it because it means "the work of god" in latin.

 

Nope, it's real. And controversial.

I have two tattoos myself and they have a very personal meaning to me. I thought about them for quite a while before I went and had them done.
