Wix/ K&N, Royal Purple Oil/Trans/Hydroulic Fluids, are products that I have used all my life, Let's say I'm in my late 40's,LOL, I have rebuilt my share of engine's/ Motorcyles, Harley Had to b the easiest!

But this being my 1st toyota, I do want some input! My 99 ford ranger XLT has royal purple fluids from the radiator/engine/tranny to the rear end and has over 212,000 miles and still is just as strong as when I bought it @ 35,000 miles. I have maintained this truck on evry inch of it!! That being said, since I bought the 2011 toy.,** I need to let the 99 ford go, Just don't drive it that much! Just like the 97 Harley Fatboy, Royal purple and wix oil filters, and run's @ 180*F since RP oil. I recently bought a 2006 Harley Ultra- Classic and changed to RP OIL & Wix oil filter, and running cooler!!!

Like the 99 ford, the 97 fatboy has to go! I Have too many play toys,& would rather someone else enjoy, as for them to just lay around!!! So back to the 2011 Toy double cab Tacoma TRD. Want People in my region to give opinions on their experience on their Maintenance techniques. I have 17inch bridgestones, Tire states 28.5 psig. dealer recommends 37psig winter & 34 summer, I just today had the last maintenance service @ 25,000 miles!!And now I can do what I like to do, and thats' do my own maintenance, I know it's done right!, but always can use others advice from experienced Toyota Owners!

Thank You & Have a Great Day!!

I run Castrol GTX 5W-20 and K/N Oil filter in mine but I have 2.7 4cyl. Anyways I have 90,589miles on mine and you cant tell it from a new one.So I recommend Castrol and K/N.

    Welcome to TW!

Since the first oil change I use Mobile 1 synthetic 5w-30 and TRD oil filter.

My tire pressure is usually 35-36 PSI. There is a chalk test that you can do to find out the best PSI for your tires.
