Hello Everyone, I Want Y’all’s Thoughts.

I’m new to posting but have been reading this forum for a long time now. I have a 3.4L 2002 Tacoma Prerunner 2wd, which my dad bought brand new. 22 Years later he then gave it to me as a present for my 16th birthday around a year ago. Currently it has 334,000 miles on it along with a 3” lift with BFG ko2s wrapped around method racing wheels. I also have Camburg upper control arms.

I’m wanting to change things up quite a bit given I can’t do any off-roading where I live, so I’m thinking more of a slight lower or at least bring it back to stock ride height with a belltech lowering kit, then adding smaller wheels and street tires. I was also planning on doing a rear sway bar regardless of if I do the lowering kit or not for added stability and control some of the body roll.

I don’t mean to be sacrilegious by suggesting I lower a Prerunner but I feel like it would be something unique and would make it a bit more fun to drive where I am, (along with helping my MPGs too….).

Anyway I’m here to just hear y’all’s option on it, thanks.

We have a street trucks forum

Unless the lift is a drop bracket style retuning to stock height isnt top hard. Depending on what's actually installed it may be just a matter of removal of parts

I checked the Street Truck forum and the only lowered pre runner I found was a complete cab swap so I wasn’t sure if people have actually done one.
